It is about Google update these days. My
Aquarium fish database gets PR5 (PR4 previously). This blog stays at PR2, since I'm not doing any link building for it. What's good, is that my
SEO site will get PR3 instead of PR1. Actually, Google Toolbar shows PR0 for it now, but it's the result of update. Many sites/pages have PR0 now, since PageRank update is very complex and lasts some time.
I also spoke to very nice webmaster of a site devoted to roofing yesterday. He's focusing on
roofing, and roof contractor phrases. He has done a lot of SEO for his site, however his PageRank will go down by 1 (from PR5 to PR4). This is very "crazy", since number of incoming links to his site increased by 133. Sometimes, it's better to have lots of links than huge PR. Basically, high PR can be bought easily. Usually, tons of links can't be bought and must be done manually.
